Unlike the petrol engines, the PSA diesel doesn't use a timing chain. Hence, no death rattle in the Doopers. The timing belt should be changed between 120,000 and 150,000km. Out of warranty cost will be about 800 euros at a dealership; it's tight in there and they have to remove quite a bit to access the belt.
Participant. I recently checked the cost of having Lohen Mini, a reputable specialist, replace my timing chain, and their price comes to approximately £670, VAT included (classified as ‘Option 2’). This includes an oil service to take care of the guides and chain. Some people believe that improper management of oil levels is the cause of
Around every 60,000 miles. The timing belt (or chain) is the sole component that keeps the camshaft (make that camshafts on a DOHC or V-type OHC engine) and crankshaft in sync. So replacing this cogged reinforced-rubber belt at regular intervals — generally every 60,000 miles unless the car manufacturer specifies longer — is a lot less
Typically, timing belts should be replaced every 60,000-100,000 miles. If your vehicle has a timing chain, there’s typically no recommended replacement interval however, the timing chains do at times need adjustments. Imagine driving down the highway and you lose power all of a sudden. It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad alternator but
Generally from what I understand, is that a timing CHAIN will be good to 100k in most cars. The longest timing CHAIN replacement interval I have ever heard of is 120k in Volvo S60R's. My previous Subaru Impreza manual specified 105k for timing CHAIN replacement. On the other hand, my Geo prism (college car) recomended 60k for its timing BELT.

2 brackets holding pipes below intercooler off. Rocker cover off. Unload the belt with the tool and pin/screw driver. Turn the crank until cam marks and coloured chain link match up. Crank damper off. Crankcase cover off - make sure you realign the waterpump gears on the crank when reassembling.
The timing belt on a Honda Odyssey generally needs to be replaced about every 60,000-100,000 miles. If you tend to drive in places with extremely hot or extremely cold temperatures, it’s a good idea to replace it closer to 60,000 miles than to wait until 100,000 miles. When the time comes to replace your timing belt, it’s also a good idea

You really just need to drain the coolant, take the belts off, remove the fan and loosen the water pump pulley, that's all. You just need something to hold the fan pulley, I
