I put the fan on about 65 degrees which should provide me with a bit of a cold air. After about 5 mins it's started to get quite hot in the car.

My wifes 2008 Explorer Eddie Bauer edition with the auto temp and dual climate control recently had the pass side blowing out hot air even with the temp manually dropped down to coldest temp possible. The driver side has complete control with the temp but not matter what temp you set the pass side at (dual or both) it still blows out hot air.

Last week we had some 90 degree days here in the south bay area and I was using the A/C constantly. While driving around I noticed the A/C air flow seemed less than usual even when Max A/C was selected. Usually with that setting there is a ton of air flow and allot of air noise associated with it.

The manual control portion appears to work just fine and can cycle from defrost to upper and lower vents as selected. - Air temperature can be adjusted from hot to cold and the blend door appears to operate as it should. Fan speed will change depending on temperature set and temp of cabin. Recirculate appears to work when selected in manual mode.
